I enjoyed my stay at the Golden Ocean. It defined value for money. Ideally located, friendly staff.

The room was more spacious than I expected. Very comfortable, very clean. The staff were pleasant, professional and helpful. The gym was well equipped. I would definitely stay there again.

There was nothing to dislike. A well run hotel of high quality.

this hotel doesn’t deserve to be called 4 star hotel

Nothing!

Everything, actually that was my worst experience in a hotel ever! The hotel doesn’t provide a thing!!! You to call and ask for what you want even tooth brush and all these small things you will not find them, hairdrier is absolutely useless!! Moreover, they don’t have pathrope !!!!!! Which should be in any 4 star hotel!! Furthermore, I have tried 3 room with different classes and all of them had broken things!! Like one of them didn’t have hairdrier, other the hand of pathroom door was about to brake and last room the main door has 2 locks broke!! I haghly advice everyone to try other hotel, this hotel doesn’t deserve to be called 4 star hotel.

The basement was dirty and parking was very congested... reception was normal but room was very cheap looking... Only two pillows where as in other hotels they keep 4 to 5 pillows and even the pillow sheet was torn.. toilet was dirty ... Hair dryer switch was just next to shower which Is totally dangerous.. TV was on side for the bed where as it should be in front of bed. You have to tilt your neck to watch TV. There was no ashtray in smoking room and when I asked for one they give me a water glass for ashtry .. they don't had milk for tea..when called the reception they said ok we will bring after 15 minutes when called back they said no we don't provide milk. And major point I booked room with L shape sofa but I didn't get that in room. Waste of money . Never recommended.

Friendly staff, not worth the money.

Very friendly staff and super helpful. Really good location.

Room and bathroom were dirty. Upon check in our original room was super dirty an the bed was broken. Most request on the room service could not be met due to it taking to long to prepare, which I think is extremely unprofessional. Being a bit more expensive then other hotels you would not think this would be a problem.

we were always given a room near the elevator and we often hear noises just near the room.we check and we found out we were near the staff area. its okay but little noisy.

There was no towels. WiFi didn't work until they plug in an access point in my room. Electricity issue - power outlet has no power. Bed's sheet is not clean. The room smell so bad. I would never stay here again

Just fine.not very satisfying

The bed size and smell of room tho it as not very relaxing scent. but not bad at all either.

Toiletries incomplete in the bathroom suck as toothbrush and slippers.You should call them and wait for 30 minutes for them to bring it to you.They only serve 1 bath towel considering that it was mentioned there were 2 persons checking in. If they are expecting 2 guests in a room,they should check if there are 2 drinking glasses,2 mugs for coffee or tea and 2 of everything! I think it's logical.And i always request for smoking room since I go to a hotel to relax and feel more comfortable.To pamper myself from a long weekend.Yet they can grant simple requests to fulfill it.Hope this is clear and considerable.Thank you.

Great value good hotel in perfect position for Corniche and Souk. Free airport transfers included.

Huge room at a bargain price, I assume due to the blockade and as a result no more visitors from Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Bahrain or UAE. Very good location within walking distance of the Islamic Art museum, Corniche and Souk. Free airport transfers are a bonus and very efficient once they know you are coming.

My booking had been cancelled when I arrived. They said by me but I had not cancelled the booking so was clearly an issue between Booking.com and the hotel. They picked me up pretty quickly from the airport even though they were not expecting me despite numerous emails and texts to them telling them I was coming. Breakfast is ok but could have a better selection.

The staff was really-really friendly.

The staff was really-really friendly. It was located close to the airport which was also good. The neighbourhood was relatively quiet.

There was a smell of cigarettes in the room when we've arrived. It was quite obvious that people have been smoking in the room quite frequently in the past. Apart from stains and cracks on the ceiling, the room and a floor was not tidy.

The room is comfort and clean its very nice, and most of all the price is affortable. The staff are also nice and friendly. One thing that is my concern is that there is no slippers and the mini refrigerator is not that much cold hope you fix this small things. But anyway i recommend this hotel.
